Danese Srl, founded in 1992 in Arzignano (VI), is a key player in the mechanical tanning industry. Built on over 20 years of technical expertise, the company has grown from producing elastic belts for staking machines to providing reliable spare parts, accessories and machinery for tanneries and other sectors.
Our Philosophy
We invest with passion and vision in the leather industry. Over the years, we’ve acquired historic brands like Calati and developed innovative lines such as eZipCut and CARM – the buffing paper, all tailored for leather processing. As part of the Tannery Equipment Team, we offer integrated solutions, ongoing support, and outstanding value for money.
eZipCut
eZipCut is our division dedicated to the design and production of pneumatic trimming tools for leather, including models like EZ80 and EZ90. Reliable, robust and accurate, these tools were born from decades of experience maintaining and repairing other brands’ trimmers.
Calati
Since 1961, Calati has been the global benchmark for leather thickness gauges. Now part of the Danese group, it maintains its traditional craftsmanship while introducing digital and connected models, preserving the precision and durability trusted by tanneries worldwide.
CARM
CARM is our line of abrasive paper for leather, launched in 2015. Specifically designed for buffing operations, it is produced in selected plants and distributed by Danese for fast delivery and maximum flexibility—ensuring superior results on all leather types.
